Copy the Pin’s own share link
Open the individual Pin rather than a board, profile, or search results page. Use its share action to copy the link, then paste the complete address into SnappyDL. Regular Pinterest URLs, supported regional hostnames, and pin.it short links can identify a Pin. Short links are resolved by the media service; a complete original link is useful if a shared address has stopped working.
SnappyDL recognizes the platform from your link and opens its Pinterest tool. A Pin URL may include a descriptive title before its numeric identifier. That identifier is kept as text so long IDs are not rounded. You do not need to extract it yourself or change the address by hand: use the post link supplied by Pinterest.
Review videos, images, and every returned page
Pinterest content does not always have the same structure. One Pin may resolve to an image, another to video, and a multi-page or idea Pin may return several distinct pages. Use the numbered item controls when they are present to review the media on each page. A cover image is a preview of the post and should not be mistaken for the complete set of returned files.
The video list follows SnappyDL’s simpler quality choices, while distinct returned audio files and images remain available. An image can have more than one supplied size. Inspect the available choices rather than assuming the thumbnail is the largest version. The source and media service determine what can be retrieved, so a result is not a guarantee that every historic version of a Pin exists.
Choose. Save. Done.
For video, begin with an available HD or SD choice and check its actual resolution and format. Highest quality is an optional setting for a fresh lookup, initially off. Some sources expose only one useful video file; duplicate choices are not repeated. For images, choose the returned file you need and use the browser’s download list to confirm the transfer completed.
If a download fails after the result has been open for a while, request fresh information from the original Pin link before retrying. Temporary media addresses may expire. If the source Pin has been removed, made inaccessible, or changed, refreshing cannot guarantee restoration. Keep the original share link for future reference instead of bookmarking a temporary file address.
Keep useful references and respect the creator
Successfully resolved post links and titles can appear in Local History on this browser. Search the list to revisit a source, remove individual entries, or clear the list when needed. History is a convenience for returning to a Pin, not a backup of its media and not a cloud synchronization account. Downloaded files are managed separately through your browser or file manager.
A Pin being public or technically downloadable does not grant permission to reuse, repost, or distribute it. Check the creator’s terms and any permission you need for your intended use. SnappyDL provides file choices from supported public links; it does not transfer ownership, remove source restrictions, or promise access to private boards and unavailable posts.
